Earthquake!

ZOMG, while groggy with migraine meds I felt the house literally start shaking. At first, I thought my meds were making me crazy but it turns out they weren't - it was an earthquake. Nothing big but man, it was awesome. With the storm at 4 am and then the earthquake at 10 pm ish July 25th was the best day ever <3 Of course it's officially the 26th now even if only by a few minutes ;)

Fonda Bus Tour Protest Against Iraq War

[Fonda wonders what is the 'best' way to campaign against war] "OMG, like bus tour!"

Fonda: Shut the FUCK up. You are an idiot and frankly, nobody cares what the hell you think. If you really want the war to be over instead of a godforsaken bus tour maybe try being helpful, because fighting against the war is basically telling every single person in Iraq that are putting there lives on the lines as well as those who have passed that they should be ashamed or something for fighting this war.

Malfunctioning Shuttle

Dude. If that shuttle is launched even with things acting up and anything happens to those people, it will be your fault. Dammit I hate space programs.

Thracian Tomb Unearthed

I'm sorry, but things like this tick me off. I mean, honestly. This was someone's GRAVE. Really, we shout and throw tantrums over people breaking the Valley of the Kings and stealing things for the Black Market yet aren't we doing the same thing? Breaking into tombs and taking everything? That's not science. It's bullshit. I know learning about the past is important and I do thing tombs should be opened and studied, but once studies are complete I think that everything should be returned and that the tomb should be resealed. It's just not right to put dead bodies on display and taking things that have been there for thousands of years. But we take all of it out and display it, calling grave robbing a 'discovery'. And peopl make large profits on this. I'm not saying I don't go to museums and check it out, because I do. But that doesn't make it right.
